Scottsdale, AZ. 1-day Mary McDonald received a UPS freight package.
FBI SA Connor Dyson (NYC, Organized crime, DeVry; CJ) was in charge of monitoring every move of the Barbaro family crime syndicate (extortion, drugs, human trafficking).
Carmine Barbaro (Nico/Paulo’s father) is the patriarch & he has 2 sons: Nico Barbaro (38, Barbaro family crime syndicate head, law) & Paulo Barbaro (PS).
Rosa Barbaro is the daughter/sister. Tina Barbaro (daughter/sister) died when she was 12.
Mrs. Barbaro (wife/mother) had been killed in a gone-bad jewelry store robbery.
Carlos runs the strip clubs (human trafficking prostitution front) for the Barbaro family.
FBI SA Scout Lemmon (f, Phoenix) & FBI SA Dyson were keeping an eye on the Keene family, & the Gambini organized crime family.
Mary had been seeing Dr. Sevindee (psychotherapist) for quite some time.
1-day Russell (Mexican, bodyguard, chauffeur) rushed Kyle & Mary (U of NYC economics) to the Children's Hospital.
Dr. Dhani rans some tests on Kyle & confirmed he has the Tachs disease (hereditary).
Eagle Ridge Golf Course (Fountain Hills). Why was FBI SA Dyson meeting with FBI SAC Frank Taggart?
Later FBI SA Dyson meets Captain Grace Daly (retired USMC sniper) & Paulo Quinten Hunter (DARPA researcher, paraplegic, mathematician, scientist).
Evelyn Bosch (billionaire, radiation exposure deceased) secure hideout/lab.
Grace informs FBI SA Dyson about Prina Umalov (aka Mary Keene, Mary McDonald, U of NYC; econ, former Barbaro family employee).
Her time is running out.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written thriller book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great thriller movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

The format of this book is a surprise. The storyline alternates almost completely between the primary characters. Very interesting flow of the plot. Great read.
Story was a bit confusing at the start, but so happy to have continued. What a book!!! Has to definitely be one of the best I ever read. Both primary characters are written using first person (chapter devoted to each), which makes for quick and easy reading. Absolutely LOVED this story. Don't miss it!!!
Fast moving, interesting characters, will keep you up late. Good vacation read. Be prepared to not want to put it down.
Truth IS stranger than fiction. A fictional account of a true story. A woman found severely beaten, with brain damage is being followed by mobsters, the FBI, and an organization called "Ghost". They all want what she used to know, her brain damage is costly human traffickers millions. Told from the viewpoint of each character.
An intense thriller with a great storyline and complex well developed characters. Contains plenty of action and many twists and turns. A very suspenseful book that is hard to put down and contains an excellent ending. I would definitely recommend this book to family and friends.

Great thriller and a believable story.
The "Technical Notes & References" section at the end of the book is a nice touch. Topics include Human Trafficking, Amnesia, Genetic Disease, Self-Defense, Hackers, DARPA, Missing Persons, Cyborgs and a comment on Deus ex machina.
It's a clever way for the authors to give us a peek inside their minds. One small nit, the real-life amnesia victim Wikipedia article is actually Benjaman Kyle, not Benjamin Kyle as shown in the Technical Notes & References.
This is another passably good book with a plot that's a bit preposterous, but i guess that's what makes some books interesting. The plot involves a woman with amnesia, her FBI agent former-husband who she doesn't remember, a current husband and child, the mafia, a terrorist group, a scientist combination Steven Hawkings/Steve Jobs/and android, human trafficking, and assorted other shocking things. For the most part, the author makes most of these things believable, which is a good trick. The plot works as long as you suspend disbelief, just like all fiction, i suppose. Not a bad book at all.
